At Ominira Therapy, we approach care with clarity, intention, and respect for both the client and the work itself. Therapy is not treated as a transaction or a quick solution. It is a space that requires presence, consistency, and a level of depth that cannot be rushed or constrained.

We are transparent about our pricing so that you can make an informed decision about your care from the beginning.

Therapy Fees and Sliding Scale

Session Rate

The standard rate for individual therapy is $200 per 50 to 60 minute session.

This rate reflects the level of clinical training, experience, and the depth of work offered within the practice. Sessions are designed to support meaningful psychological and somatic processing, rather than surface level symptom management.

Clients may attend sessions weekly, biweekly, or at a pace that aligns with their needs and capacity.

Sliding Scale

We offer a limited sliding scale ranging from $100 to $200 per session, based on financial need and clinician discretion.

We do not require pay stubs, documentation, or proof of financial hardship. We trust clients to communicate what is realistically sustainable for them. This is a collaborative and honest process, not a verification system.

At the same time, this model works best when approached with a sense of mutual responsibility. The rate you choose directly impacts the availability of care within the practice.

As a general guideline, you are invited to consider the following:

$200 per session: This range may be appropriate if you are financially stable, have consistent income, and are able to invest in therapy without significant strain. Choosing this range helps sustain the practice and allows for expanded access to others.

$150 per session: This range may be appropriate if you are meeting your needs but are also balancing other financial responsibilities. Therapy is important to you, though you may need some flexibility to maintain consistency over time.

$100 per session: This range may be appropriate if you are experiencing financial strain, reduced income, or limitations that make the full rate inaccessible at this time. These reduced rate spaces are limited and offered with care to ensure ongoing availability.

Sliding scale placements are not guaranteed and are dependent on current availability within the practice.

Community Access

We maintain a limited number of reserved sessions for individuals accessing care through aligned community platforms and financial support networks.

This includes individuals connected through Open Path Collective and the Loveland Foundation, as well as those utilizing external funding sources associated with these programs.

We also reserve a small number of pro bono or reduced rate sessions for established clients who encounter unexpected financial hardship during the course of treatment. These decisions are made with care and intention, with the goal of maintaining continuity whenever possible.

Availability for all reduced and community-supported sessions is limited and based on current capacity.

Why Private Pay

Private pay allows therapy to remain focused on you, rather than being shaped by the requirements of an insurance company.

Without those constraints, sessions can move at a pace that reflects your actual needs. The work is not limited to what can be documented or approved, and care is not interrupted by authorization requirements or coverage changes.

This is especially important for trauma-focused and somatic work, where depth, flexibility, and continuity matter.

Private pay also offers an added level of privacy and discretion for those who value keeping their mental health care separate from insurance records.

We recognize that therapy is an investment in more ways than one. This model tends to be a good fit for individuals who are seeking depth oriented work and who value consistency and autonomy in their care.

If cost feels like a barrier, you are welcome to reach out. When possible, we can explore available sliding scale options or provide referrals to other resources that may better meet your needs.

Using Insurance Instead

Private pay are one way to access therapy at Ominira, but they are not the only option.

If you prefer to use your insurance benefits, we also offer trauma focused therapy through select insurance providers. Clients using insurance receive the same standard of care, including a comprehensive assessment, a formal diagnosis when appropriate, and a collaboratively developed treatment plan.

For some individuals, using insurance may be the most practical or accessible option depending on their coverage, deductibles, and out of pocket costs.
