Services

Ominira Therapy provides outpatient services for adults facing emotional, relationship, and life challenges. We offer individual and group therapy, tailoring care to your needs, readiness, and goals.

Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, we work with you to create a plan that fits your pace. We use proven, evidence-based methods to build clarity, emotional balance, and lasting change.

A free phone consultation is available as an initial point of contact. This brief conversation is typically 15 to 20 minutes and is offered at no cost to help determine whether Ominira’s services align with what you are seeking.

During the consultation, you may share what is bringing you to therapy, what you hope to work on, and any preferences or questions you have about care. The focus is on listening, clarifying needs, and providing information about how therapy is structured, what approaches may be used, and what next steps could look like.

This consultation is not a therapy session. It is intended to support informed decision-making and to assess whether moving forward together is an appropriate fit.

*Session/consultation times can vary slightly based on need and pacing.

Individual therapy at Ominira offers a collaborative space for adults navigating anxiety, trauma related concerns, relational patterns, or ongoing emotional challenges. Sessions are typically 45 to 53 minutes and move at a pace that supports steadiness, reflection, and meaningful progress. Care is shaped around what matters most to you, rather than a predetermined agenda.

Individual therapy is a regulated mental health service. Depending on clinical goals, sessions may include assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and support for symptoms that interfere with daily functioning. Therapists draw from evidence based approaches such as DBT, EMDR, mindfulness based practices, and somatic interventions, using methods that align with your preferences and therapeutic focus.

This work centers respect for autonomy, cultural context, and the knowledge you already carry about your own life. You remain the authority on your lived experience, while your therapist offers structure, perspective, and tools within a relationship grounded in trust and collaboration.

If you are considering individual therapy and would like to learn more about whether this approach is a good fit, you are welcome to schedule a phone consultation.

At Ominira Therapy, group therapy is offered as a structured space for learning, practice, and shared understanding. Groups are designed to support skill development and insight while allowing participants to engage at their own pace, without pressure to disclose personal details beyond what feels appropriate.

Group therapy at Ominira integrates DBT skills, mindfulness based cognitive therapy practices, and psychoeducation. The focus is on building tools for emotional regulation, awareness, distress tolerance, and more intentional responses to everyday challenges. Rather than centering diagnosis or narrative processing, groups emphasize practical application and consistency over time.

Content may shift based on group focus, pacing, and participant needs, allowing groups to remain responsive while grounded in clear structure and purpose. This approach supports learning in community while maintaining boundaries, predictability, and clinical containment.

Group therapy may be recommended on its own or alongside individual therapy, depending on clinical goals and fit.

If you are interested in group therapy and would like to learn more about current offerings or whether this format may be supportive for you, you are welcome to schedule a consultation or explore available groups.

How To Get Started

Step One: Phone Consultation

A phone consultation is a brief conversation designed to help you learn more about Ominira and ask any initial questions you may have. It is not therapy and does not involve assessment or treatment. This conversation helps determine next steps and whether moving forward feels like a good fit.

Phone consultations are required for all services.

Step Two: Insurance Verification and Intake Forms

After the phone consultation, clients receive intake forms and, when applicable, insurance verification documents by email. Intake materials vary depending on whether services are individual, couples, or group based.

Insurance verification applies to individual and couples therapy. Group therapy is offered as a self-pay service.

Step three: First Session

For individual therapy, the first session includes an intake interview where your provider reviews relevant history, discusses current concerns, and begins collaboratively identifying goals for care.

For couples therapy, each partner completes an individual intake session before ongoing couples sessions begin. For group offerings, the first session is the initial group meeting.
